The mission of Circle of Support is to reduce the trauma of child abuse investigations, foster professional collaboration and cooperation, expedite service delivery to victims and provide education and advocacy, regarding the prevention of child abuse, within the community. The CAC provides a collaborative and child-focused response to the investigation of child abuse cases and treatment/supportive services for victims. A multidisciplinary team works closely with the CAC during the investigative process, to ensure every child and their non-offending family members are referred to appropriate services.
