CambriaCounty.com was created to provide an easily accessible online directory to Cambria County.

How It Started

Our area was not spared during the recent pandemic, which devastated communities and local economies everywhere. COVID-19 caused some businesses here to close their doors temporarily, some permanently; other small business owners are just starting out in the aftermath. We’re happy to hear that many found their feet in the pandemic and are flourishing. Throughout the pandemic, organizations have stepped up to help their communities and each other. The generosity we’ve seen has been heartwarming. It has inspired us to create this platform which will serve to connect and enrich our local businesses and charities, as well as the communities they serve.

While this site started as a business directory and promotional site, it evolved into something more. Throughout the course of this project, we discovered a drive to learn more about this area and show off everything we found. Cambria County is a place that is rich with history and culture and amazing people. Every day we find something new – a concert in the park, a food drive, an art gallery, a cool new pizza shop – and are inspired by all there is to enjoy in the place we call home.

We’re excited to showcase everything from brand new hidden gems to everyone’s favorite dinner spot, and have fun doing it! We wanted to make a place where you can find so much more in Cambria County so we can build a stronger, happier community.
