The Society of St. Vincent de Paul is an international catholic lay organization which offers women and men the opportunity for spiritual formation through person-to-person service to the poor and needy.
The Society of St. Vincent de Paul’s Food For Families program operates two Family Kitchens, one in Altoona and one in Johnstown, serving a noon meal to anyone in need without charge.
Currently the Family Kitchens serve close to 100,000 meals per year.
