The purpose of this association shall be to protect the lives and property of the residents of Richland Township, Geistown Borough and any contracted or consolidated associations, companies, departments or stations in Cambria County, Pennsylvania and vicinity from injury or damage from fire or other catastrophes and to foster and promote the general welfare of the community.
